None of Your Beeswax
$14.00
On the quiet Jalama Road in Lompoc California, there is a family farm stand run by a collective of women who strive to build community in the valley by teaching neighbors and passers by about heirloom growing, living off the land, and doing things the old way. This generous bar of beeswax was molded by the Pata family, who have been harvesting beans and running cattle since 1912.
Beeswax is a natural by-product of worker honeybees and is essential to the hive, creating the honeycombs that store the honey. It has multiple daily uses including but not limited to mustache wax, candle making, unsticking drawers, whipping frayed rope, waterproofing canvas, and conditioning wooden cutting boards.
