Sweetgrass Braid

Briar Winters is a former pastry chef who became fascinated with plant oils and began to discover the world of holistic skin care products utilizing natural ingredients. She views natural plant oils as the blood of plants and the precious essence of life. Her disarmingly analog creations with her brand, Marble & Milkweed Apothecary, are designed to simplify the way you care for yourself. They are formulated almost exclusively using organic and fairtrade ingredients, and are made carefully by hand. They are gentle and contain no harsh chemicals or artificial scents. She is conscious of the impact her packaging has on the environment and strives to reduce unnecessary materials. This is a single sweetgrass braid, about 12" long which can be smudged like an incense.  It is used to cleanse a space of energy, or simply burned because it smells nice.  Simply light the tip of it with a lighter and burn it for a few seconds, then blow it out and allow it to smolder enjoying the sweet and fresh smelling smoke.
